The story of Okatia part Qwade and Jai

A lot of years ago there was a spirit named Okātia. Okātia lived in a forest in the Manawatu. Okātia was trapped in a strong kind of tree that was colossal compared to everything else on his island. One day the tree man Okatia became bored because he was too overpowered. Suddenly, he heard that there was something bigger than the island he stood on. So Mr tree human fell onto the grass and started wobbling to his destination. Everything that stood in his way would be squashed because he didn't know that there were animals in his way, the only things that survived so far were some tiny ferns, how did they survive? They just pretended to be Christmas decorations and hung onto the tree guys branches. When the tree dude was wobbling he was digging into the ground in a wobbly line with water from lakes and rivers chasing him. The water filled the wobbly trail of dirt and made a long beautiful river.

Samantha - Planning
There’s something much bigger than me. Throbbing in his veins his heart started to dance, it started to hurt him like he was in a volcano. Dancing through the forest he was filled with anger, he felt enraged. While he danced he started to feel a bit weird. His branches were falling off like a bunch of bouncing balls. He arrived at the ranges with a big crash.

Jamie - Middle
He finally got to the mighty wall. He pounded and pounded but it was no use. He was smashing with all his might. He kicked and punched but it was just no use so he had one more kick and went away. But then out of the blue it cracked and WOOSH!The water hit him like a bullet, he struggled like a warrior, and the wind was a hurricane. He saw his trail flood up,and another branch snapped off. Okatia panicked in his head. He only just squeezed through the crevice making it whine with his brute force. He pushed the hillside from either side accidentally letting the water fill up in the channel. The water pushed him into a gap with gigantic force. This was almost the end of his journey, the ferns and rocks smashed into him. They were pushing him to Moana. This was not so bad after all, his journey was almost finished.

Izzy and Hayley - End
When Okātia was floating down the stream he found himself at a stop. As soon as he thought he could go no more, he heard an unusual sound. The water was salty, not like he has had tasted before. Loads of salty water crashing over the top of him. It was wonderful. He reached Foxton beach. He stared into the sea with tears of glee. The waves hit the sand with passion. The sea may had been bigger than him but it was wonderful. He had crashed through the forest and tumbled down the mountains and made a stream to end up at the beach. The beach was hot like he had never felt before.  Okātia could see his beautiful branches floating further away in the mean sea.
The End.
